From our humble beginnings on Broad Street in New Orleans to our current position as the world's largest fine dining company, Ruth's Chris Steak House has come quite a long way in its first four decades. In 2005, we celebrated our 40th anniversary, and we consider it a celebration of the life of a woman who broke the mold - our founder, Ruth Fertel.

Good Morning! The BREAKFAST PLACE is just that-- your locally-owned neighborhood breakfast place. We serve hot, delicious and quick breakfasts Monday through Friday from 6AM until 3PM. Eggs are our specialty, including a wide variety of omelettes. We have buttermilk pancakes, French toast and our Belgian waffles are golden crisp and hot off the waffle iron. We do offer egg substitute and vegetarian options for the health conscious.

Driftaway Cafe began in the summer of 2001. Driftaway Cafe was created out of the desire to offer the surrounding neighborhoods and businesses good, fresh food in a fun and friendly atmosphere. The Distillery was once a very reputable distilling establishment. In 1904, the "Kentucky Distilling Co." opened its doors. As the prohibition movement gained steam, the company switched ownership and became the "Louisville Distilling Co." after only one year.
