Architectural Tours of Savannah, LLC exists to inform visitors, locals and anyone else interested in Savannah's story about this beautiful city's built environment. Oglethorpe's original plan, today's desire to balance preservation with a living city and almost 300 years in between are discussed while walking through what is sometimes labeled an urban jungle.

Jonathan Stalcup, owner of Architectural Tours of Savannah, grew up in Madison County, Iowa, setting of many covered bridges and limestone structures. From an early age, Stalcup was interested in Savannah, Georgia based on novels his sisters read to him. A frequent theme in the novels was Savannah's rich architectural trove. While a senior in high school, Stalcup learned of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and remembered his fascination with the soutern city. In 2004, Stalcup received his Master of Architecture from SCAD and began his tour company.
