For the last 25 years Darold P. Leto Jr., B.A., D.C. has witnessed the wonders of chiropractic as both a patient and Doctor. Born with a Neuromuscular disease called Charcot Marie Tooth (CMT) Dr. Leto spent the first 10 years of his life traveling from his hometown Key West to Miami once a month for therapy and neurological evaluation. When Doctors told Darold Sr. that his son would be disabled and in a wheelchair by age fifteen Darold Sr. who had watched his wife who also has CMT go through over 22 surgeries with no results had enough. The long time football coach decided to trust one of his former players who became a chiropractor. The rest as they say is history! Within 2 weeks of receiving chiropractic treatment Dr. Leto was actively playing with friends and has since played competitive sports in High School and College with no complications or surgeries. Upon completing his undergraduate degree at Florida State University Dr. Leto went on to graduate from Life College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia in 2001. After working in a family practice in Key West for 2 years Dr. Leto moved to Savannah in 2004. His specialties include Auto and Sports injuries, Headaches, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Neck and Low back Pain, Pregnancy, and many other health conditions. He is also certified in the Care of Elite and Professional Athletes (C.E.P.A.) and the official Armstrong Atlantic University team chiropractor. Dr. Leto resides in downtown Savannah with his wife Melissa and 2 children Writer and Ocean.
