Dr. Matthew Rosenthal

Dr. Rosenthal is a native of Savannah, Georgia.  Following graduation from Savannah Country Day School, Dr. Rosenthal attended the University of Georgia where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 1998,  after earning his degree in dental medicine from The Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Rosenthal returned to Savannah to begin practicing dentistry.

Dr. Rosenthal enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in cosmetic and complex restorative treatments.  In addition, Dr. Rosenthal also enjoys working with children and special needs patients.  

In his spare time, Dr. Matt enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well as his two Australian Shepherds, Sophie and Chili.  He is an avid golfer and fisherman and enjoys sitting on the porch with a good book.

Dr. Gates attended Colgate University and graduated from Duke University.  He earned his dental degree from the University of North Carolina in 1989.  He earned a Master of Science and Certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Iowa in 1991.  Dr. Gates earned a Certificate in Maxillofacial Prosthodontics from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in 1992.  After three years as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of North Carolina, he opened a private practice in Durham, NC.
 

Dr. Gates has a special interest in restoring the complex dental patient and restoring dental implants. When Dr. Gates is not practicing dentistry you can find him with his Golden Retrievers: Cider and Shadow.
